Please register on the PTO website beginning March 27th at 9:00pm.

Please be aware that some courses have historically filled within minutes of registration opening.

You must be a paid PTO member to register your child for an enrichment class.

If a course is filled that your child is interested in, please email the PTO to be added to the waitlist.

All classes are $50 plus an additional fee for supplies for some classes which are paid during registration.

Classes will be offered 1 day a week for six weeks.

Fitness, Food & Fun with Mrs. Cole

Join the Fitness Club, where every step you take counts! Whether you're new to running or an experienced athlete, this club is all about fostering healthy habits, building confidence, and pushing yourself to be your best. We’ll start each session by stretching to get you energized, followed by running, walking, or other fun forms of movement. We’ll finish with a healthy snack and celebrate our progress! Students will track their personal growth, challenge themselves to achieve new milestones and try new healthy foods! Let’s move together, stay healthy, and build confidence while having a great time! Please bring sneakers and water bottle.
Art of all Kinds with Ms. Krieg

Each week the students will explore a different medium of art and learn about a different artist. The students will look at two artists and will create two paintings inspired by their work. Students will also learn about two ceramicists and the different kinds of pottery they made. By the end of the program, each student will create two pieces of pottery and will paint two paintings.

Friendship Bracelets with Ms. Bucolo

Students will engage in developing fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and problem-solving abilities all while creating a soft, hand sewn project. Through different patterns and designs the students will show their creativity in a calm and peaceful environment. Sewing activities can improve attention span and concentration as the students will have to pay close attention to the details of the task. Each week we will have a different theme (animals, monsters, dogs, food, etc…) and the students will be able to pick a different character to create. They will use child safe, plastic sewing needles to create their own project to bring home. The projects will be pre cut, and hole punched to allow for success in creating the project. Come sew with me!

Students will learn about native plants that attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators by observing our school’s National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Certified Habitat - a native wildflower garden that was established 3 years ago by Mr. Yee’s Spring ’22 Eco Class. The garden will be "manicured" and cleaned up for another season of brightly colored pollinators! We will observe rapidly growing plants in the classroom and understand a plant's life cycle. Finally, students will plant spring flowers in the school’s courtyard garden boxes.

Are you interested in gardening? Let’s learn all about different seeds/plants and the conditions needed for them to grow and thrive. We will plant and care for different vegetable and flower seeds/plants and learn the importance of native plants and flowers…we’ll plant some of them too! We will also collaborate with the Eco Club and help tend to the outdoor gardens around the school grounds. Everyone will have plants to bring home at the end of the program! Please bring gardening gloves.

Welcome to the BES Littles LEGO Club! Students will have three times as much fun when there are three ways to build! Each student will receive a creative toy set that will let them put the model together in three different ways! Each Lego set comes equipped with Lego pieces that will allow students to build 3 different objects/figures. Students will work through our 6 weeks together to build the 3 objects/figures in their Lego set and we will document our creations along the way! Students will experience a whole new adventure with a wide range of different options to suit all creative styles and stories. The possibilities are endless! Students will take home one set/completed LEGO creation at the end of our time together.

Get ready to bring the energy, excitement, and spirit to life in our Cheer & Dance Enrichment Program! This fun and engaging program introduces the fundamentals of cheerleading and dance, combining cheers, chants, and a choreographed routine to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork. Throughout the sessions, students will: Learn basic cheer motions, jumps, and chants, master a dance routine, develop teamwork, rhythm, and performance skills and have tons of fun! No prior experience.
